Exceptionally rare, only the finest barrels are used to produce this outstanding Cognac. Smooth, mellow and warming but with a depth and intensity of flavour which makes this a Cognac almost without equal.

‘Excellence’ – no other word could adequately describe this very, very, special and exceedingly rare Cognac.
In over 20 years of tasting and sampling many Cognacs we have never found one to even remotely approach the quality and pleasure to be found in a glass of ‘Excellence’.
Produced by a small family business in the heart of the Cognac region of France, their objective is to produce the very finest Cognac imaginable.
For them the modern day considerations of turnover, profit, and volume, are not their only aim - these are replaced with time and dedication.
Think back to the world of 1955 – 50 years ago – when this Cognac was first laid down to slowly mature. Think of the changes to life as we now live it, and you will appreciate the dedication, time – and foresight – involved.
Simply everything about ‘Excellence’ is special.
From the glass bottle itself which is hammered, broken and then re-fired to give a unique effect, to the 50 years old contents with their warmth, mellowness, subtlety and depth of flavours which all combine to heighten your own pleasure and enjoyment every time you taste it.
This is a Cognac to be sipped, savoured and thoroughly enjoyed in the company of only your greatest friends.
You would expect something this unique to be available only in strictly limited supply – and you are correct, it is very limited. But, this is in itself a massive understatement.
Each bottle of ‘Excellence’ is specially produced to order.
When we receive your order then, and only then, is the Cognac carefully bottled, sealed, packed and ready for despatch.
This all takes time, so you should allow between 4-6 weeks from placing your order to receiving your bottle of ‘Excellence’. But after the Cognac itself has waited for 50 years, another 4-6 weeks seems more than reasonable …..
We said strictly limited and you will see just how true this is when we tell you that we only have 50 bottles of ‘Excellence’ available for sale this year.
